A Book on the works of Ernst Haeckel

This project intends to create a new, fascinating and very special book of Heackel’s works. The book will contain micro-illustrations of forms and figures of microcosmic life on Earth. Mixed with a modern, colorful and contemporary layout, Haeckel is a beautiful and informative book. Ernst Heinrich Haeckel was a German zoologist, naturalist, philosopher, physician, professor, marine biologist, and artist who discovered, described and named thousands of new species. He also mapped a genealogical tree relating all life forms, and coined many terms in biology.The published artwork of Haeckel includes over 100 detailed, multi-coloured illustrations of animals and sea creatures, collected in his Kunstformen der Natur (“Art Forms of Nature”).
